Why Do We Deny The Truth?
Why do we deny the truth
When it is right in front of our face
The LORD’s ways are like honey
That is always sweet
Why is it that man tries to hide his flaws
When he knows the LORD sees all our wrongs
Can we be like the LORD as HE is perfect
Are we unsinful men
No, definitely certain we are not perfect
How can we say that there is no GOD
How blind can we be when HE is reaching out to us all
How can we be so bold and try to make it in this world on our own
When we know it is impossible to be happy without the LORD
The LORD’s message to us is to follow HIM
And to turn away from our wrongs and our sin
Because we are not a slave to sin
As we were back then

Thoughts and After Thoughts on Contradictions vs. Dictions
Can man be so bold as to say there is no GOD
Declaring the LORD a mere man-made creation
Yet time and time again we have heard this audacious
Just on many deluded occasions
Well, if man created GOD to his own predilections
Perceiving the LORD such symbolic perfection
Why then that man have such troubles in refining themselves
For all our problems we refuse to see the source
Like misguided arrows we stray from the LORD’s course
Why then that man have such troubles in refining themselves
We have denied the truth for far far too long
Where now is the hero who rebukes what is wrong
Where there are many gods and saviors
As they are people in a different subtitle under every steeple
We are twisted and contorted to the right and to the left
But doesn’t the one LORD have something to say for himself
With a puzzle of complete dissolutions seems missing
Yet when the LORD sends an answer, is man willing to answer
Denying definition negates existence
Then what am I but some vague reminiscence
The LORD knows who HE is and who HE is not
His glorious name resounds that HE lives
We have denied the truth for far far too long
Where now is the hero who rebukes what is wrong
Truth mixed with lies is like food laced with poison.
The supper alone would be fine but what is added in destroys men
We have denied the truth for far far too long
Where now is the hero that rebukes what is wrong
If you would love me says the LORD as I have loved you
My own revelation shall come into view
But you must seek, submit to, and obey my laws
As I wash and cleanse you of your worldly flaws
Your mind, heart and soul must still be as one
And I certainly must support myself, my son, my daughter, my child, my life.
