THE LIGHT BULB (TLB) PROGRAM

Celebrating SEEED, EL-BROADY ACADEMY, EL-THOMP COLLEGE OF FUNDAMENTAL STUDIES

On Friday, January 10, 2014 3:30 PM, a few members of Team SEEED, Etetor Roland Eshiet, Derec Moore, Emmanuel Ben-Edet, Ms. Maureen Saduwa and Master EJ converged at the administrative building of EL-Broady Academy, San Antonio, TX to present a seminar entitled “Marching to the Same Drum Beat!” This presented an opportunity to formally meet and interact with the leadership of EL-Broady Academy. Representing EL-Broady Academy were Pastor Ricky Hooker (Founder of EL-Broady Academy & Pastor of The Fountain Church) and Mr. Terrence Littlefield (Principal of EL-Broady Academy): http://www.broadyacademy.com/about-us.

The seminar was given by Mr. Derec Moore (Coordinator, Educational Development & Spokesperson SEEED/TSF). This lasted easily over half an hour and was succeeded by a question and answer (Q&A) session. The meeting was a tremendous success; the resulting partnership enjoys the commitment and support of all concerned parties.

Consequently, this meeting informally begins the partnership between SEEED, EL-Broady Academy and EL-THOMP College of Fundamental Studies and triggers the commencement of ‘The Light Bulb (TLB)’ program. Formal dates of, and activities surrounding the, launching of these programs will be announced in the near future.
